Which airport is closest from Bergen County?
It depends on which part of the county you are in. Southern and Meadowlands towns (Rutherford, Lyndhurst, Carlstadt) reach Newark Airport fastest via the NJ Turnpike. Towns along the Palisades and the GWB corridor (Fort Lee, Edgewater, Englewood Cliffs) are often closer in time to LaGuardia than to JFK. The Pascack Valley and northwest Bergen (Westwood, Ridgewood, Mahwah) are the longest runs to every airport, so leaving margin matters most there. Private-aviation travelers have Teterboro Airport right in the middle of the county.
