Car services include a period of complimentary waiting time, after which waiting may be billed. For airport pickups, the clock starts at your flight’s actual landing time (thanks to flight tracking); our policy includes 45 minutes for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights. For other pickups — homes, offices, hotels — complimentary waiting is typically up to 15 minutes after the scheduled time. After that, waiting time is usually charged in increments.

Our waiting policy at a glance

Pickup type Complimentary waiting
Domestic flight arrival 45 minutes after landing
International flight arrival 60 minutes after landing
Non-airport pickup Up to 15 minutes after the scheduled time

Why airport waiting starts at landing

With your flight number, the chauffeur tracks your flight, so delays don’t cost you — the complimentary window starts when you actually land. Read how flight tracking works.

After the complimentary period

Additional waiting is typically billed in set increments. If you’re delayed — long customs lines, lost luggage — text your chauffeur. Read lost luggage: what to do.

Tips to avoid waiting charges

  • Give your flight number.
  • Be ready at the pickup time for non-airport trips.
  • Update dispatch if plans change.
  • Book hourly if you’re unsure how long you’ll be. Read hourly vs point-to-point.

Example scenarios

  • Domestic flight lands at 6:10 p.m.: complimentary waiting runs until 6:55 p.m.
  • International flight lands at 3:00 p.m.: complimentary waiting runs until 4:00 p.m., covering immigration and baggage claim.
  • Home pickup at 7:00 a.m.: complimentary waiting until 7:15 a.m.; after that, waiting may be billed.

Why waiting isn’t unlimited

While a chauffeur waits, they can’t take other bookings. Complimentary periods cover normal delays; beyond that, charging for time keeps the system fair and vehicles available for other passengers.
